Teen Leaders Club is collecting new books, jigsaw puzzles, puzzle and coloring books, art supplies, LEGO sets, card games, and jewelry making kits to create Bravery Bags for children ages 3-18 at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital.

In Memory of Marguerite Barone
Sachem Public Library mourns the loss of longtime devoted Board of Trustees member, Marguerite Barone. Marguerite was a steadfast supporter of libraries and championed Sachem Public Library over the course of its many evolutions. She supported the public’s right to a lifetime of learning and discovery. Marguerite joined the board in 2003 and she also served five years as a Trustee at Suffolk County Library System. Marguerite is survived by her husband, daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters.

The Studio
Studio classes are limited to adult Sachem cardholders and the name of the patron attending must match the library card used to register for that class. Registered adults may be accompanied by a teen age 16 or above. Register online or by phone Wednesday, July 15 at 9:30am. Registration limited to one program per patron for the first week of registration (including waitlists). You may register for additional classes beginning Tuesday, July 21 at 9:30am.
