The series begins on Monday, September 27 at 3:00 p.m. with a discussion of Henry David Thoreau: A Life of the Mind by Robert D. Richardson. This absorbing biography examines and relates the private and public contexts of Thoreau’s life from 1837 to his death in 1862.
