In an effort to enrich the lives of its older residents, the Town of Brookhaven
offers seniors an ever-growing scope of services and activities. Among
the current programs the Town offers are medical and shopping transportation,
adult day care, in-home services, Home Chore and Senior Repair, senior
citizen clubs, and summertime picnics. Some services require a fee, but
a majority of programs are offered free of charge to eligible residents
or taxpayers of the Town of Brookhaven who are 60 years of age or older.
