How do I get to the library?
Reserve your Museum Adventure online, in person at the Welcome Desk, or by telephone at 631-588-5024. The Museum Adventure Pass grants you and your family free access to many popular museums in NYC and on Long Island. Click to access the library's Museum Adventure reservation page:
The Library offers a wide variety of workshops and programs for all age groups. To sign up for a program, click on Register for a Program and search by either program title or code.
A donation to the Sachem Public Library is an excellent way to enhance and enrich library services for the entire Sachem community. Your gift will help to ensure the continued excellence of an institution devoted to promoting every individual's desire for knowledge and creative fulfillment.
There are many ways in which you can help the Library continue to grow:
- A gift of cash
- A monetary contribution to the Honor and Memorial Program
- A donation of furnishings
- A donation of print or non-print materials
- A donation of other types of property

Sachem Public Library is a WiFi hotspot. Bring your laptop power it up and be online. For those needing an Ethernet connection, the Library has wired study tables in the Quiet Study area. Ask for a cable at the Technology Center or bring your own standard cable. [go back]
Applications for part-time employment are available at all public service desks as well as downloadable for the link below. Applications are kept on file for 3 months. In general, the library employs part-timers in the positions of librarian, custodian, clerk and page. (Download part-time application)
