Community Service at the Library
Children
in grades 4 & 5 can receive 4 hours of community service from
the Sachem Public Library. All you have to do is read a book on your grade
level, and write a book review using the form below. When you bring the
book review to the Children's Reference Desk you'll receive a certificate
for 4 hours of community service.
Well-written reviews will be published in our annual Community Service Book Review Booklet which is available at the Children's Desk and on our webpage. This booklet helps other kids pick books to read by seeing what other kids their age are reading.
