E. Bassford Hawkins (1893-1977)
collected 2,000 arrowheads within a 4 mile radius of Lake Ronkonkoma.
Mr. Hawkins generously donated that collection
to the Sachem Public Library.
The pictures below are taken from the collection housed
in the Library's Local History Room.
The balance of the collection is on permanent loan to the
Lake Ronkonkoma Historical Society
